Fall Baseball Season has begun ...

We officially have NO life outside of baseball! Scott is coaching both Matthew and Mikey's teams again ... he loves it. We joke and say if we're not at the baseball fields we are at home getting ready to go to the baseball fields and if you can't find us in either place - call the hospital - we're probably there!

Matthew and Mikey are in different leagues due to their age difference BUT they are on the same team in their respective leagues. This is REALLY nice for Scott .... he doesn't have to worry about changing jerseys when he goes from game to game! :O)

I am keeping score for Mikey's team. You would think this would be easy, right? No ... it's fairly complicated. Lots of symbols and abbreviations to remember and I'm here to tell you - if you are keeping score you can do NOTHING else! It's so easy to miss something! We don't use the light up scoreboard in Mikey's league ... it tends to distract and/or discourage the little kids so we just keep it all in the scorebook. I like it, it defintely keeps me involved in the game!

It has been brutally hot at the fields lately. What the hell is up with that? It's mid-September for Pete's sake! I'm ready for some nice, cool and crisp fall weather. That's MY kind of weather. I don't know how these kids play in this heat. They have got to be SUPER hot in their little uniforms and hats. I guess kids are more resilient than adults, huh?

I'll try to get some pictures and post them this weekend. Hopefully we won't get rained out ... lots of hurricanes a'brewin south of us.
